How do I become a Home Inspector in Florida?

To become a home inspector in Florida you need to complete a 120-hour program of pre-licensing training, pass the state exam, and fill out an application with the DBPR. InterNACHI has two different options for completing the pre-licensing training, please see the Florida page for more details.

You can also schedule your state exam through InterNACHI. Just go to the same Florida page and scroll down for exam information.

General Info on Two Training Options:

You can join InterNACHI for $49/mo or $499/yr and you will receive access to all of the courses as well as other benefits. You can complete the pre-licensing training and pass your final exam with no obligation to remain a member.
